Southampton Car Stacker
This contract was for the building of a five-storey flat deck car storage facility with 2,293 spaces for import/export vehicles at the port of Southampton. SC4 was given the job to manufacture all 700 tonnes of the floor beams & secondary steelwork.
Greenpark, Reading
This contract was for a single suspended deck and multi storey car parks designed and constructed on the Greenpark commercial development in Reading, providing over 3,100 car parking spaces in total. SC4 was responsible for the manufacture of all the 150 tonnes of floor beams on this project.
Next, Rotherham
SC4 was working for a Hampshire based company and was given the contract to manufacture the Steelwork for a Mezzanine floor at a new distribution warehouse in Rotherham totalling 650 tonnes.
The Moor MSCP
The Moor MSCP in Sheffield was our 28th project for Bourne Parking Ltd.
This 9 storey car park, involving over 1,250 tonnes of fabricated steelwork, was
one of the most challenging projects yet undertaken by BPL and SC4 Ltd.
Due to the busy city centre redevelopment and traffic congestion, as well as the
restricted storage and erection space, the steelwork had to be produced against
a strict delivery deadline.
The sloping site and extensive groundwork's demanded precise planning and execution.
The local council has commended BPL on the projects build and finished aesthetics.
