SC4 are passionate about the environment and have been taking steps to reduce energy consumption and lower carbon emissions since 2015. We are committed to getting ahead of this because we want to make a difference and want to provide a better environment for our lovely local community.
As a business we have invested in:
- Installing efficient heating and LED lights in 2015
- Fitting a 90KwH solar panel system to our factory roof in 2016
- Running electric cars in our fleet since 2019
This is just the start of our sustainable journey, and with continual investment in innovation and green technology, this greatly reduces not just ours, but our clients carbon footprint.
SC4 received help from Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire to implement these energy saving measures and their grants have enabled us to make these fantastic changes.
The £8.5 million Smart Energy programme has been part funded by the European Regional Development fund. This is allowing small to medium businesses across the Greater Lincolnshire area to invest in energy saving technology.
